Velcan terminates 10MW Quebra Dedo hydropower project in Brazil

Velcan rescinds development of the Quebra Dedo hydropower project (10MW) has been revoked for a number of years owing to adminstrative and environmental issues. The Quebra Dedo hydropower project possesses less than 15 years of concession left and has been revoked by the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency.

The related development costs were already entirely provisioned in the Group’s balance sheet since 2011.
