Suzlon wins repeat order of 50.40 Mw hybrid turbines from IPP

Suzlon has won a repeat order of 50.40 Mw Suzlons latest hybrid turbines from leading IPP company. The order consist of 24 units of Suzlon’s new S111 120m hybrid wind turbine generators each with a capacity of 2.1MW.

The S11X 2.1 MW platform features the time tested Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) technology which is designed to optimally harness available wind resources. It delivers higher energy along with the higher return on investment.

The project has the potential to provide power to over 27,000 households and reduce 0.10 million tonnes of CO2 emissions per annum. The project is located in Karnataka and will be completed by June 2017.
