SolarWorld Americas maintains full operations despite of parent’s insolvency

SolarWorld Americas announced that it is operating as usual and maintaining full operations as it produces and sells its solar technology despite the fact SolarWorld AG and its German subsidiaries are undertaking insolvency proceedings in Germany.

SolarWorld Americas is the U.S. largest crystalline-silicon solar manufacturer for over 42 years and is continuing to implement efficiencies and working with external partners to position the company for stabilization and a continued competitive position in the marketplace.
