Ricoh: Solar array to Power New Jersey Facility by generating 790,000 Kwh Per Year
Ricoh announced that its New jersey facility will be powered by the solar array project which began in march 2014 through collaboration with EnterSolar. The array is expected to produce more than 790,000 Kwh per year, which id more than 50% of the facility need.
Ricoh Executive VP, Human Resources and Deputy GM, Donna Venable said that the concern for the environment is in Ricoh’s DNA. It’s core to their corporate identity. Since Ricoh established its Environmental Promotion Group more than 40 years ago, they have worked hard to foster sustainability from the top down and the bottom up. It’s what drove them to undertake this solar array project, it’s what drives their emissions reductions as a global company, and it’s what drives their individual employees to do their part in fostering sustainability through corporate and external programs.
