Packers Plus completes First Installation of StackFRAC Titanium XV system in HPHT Middle East
Packers Plus Energy Services announced that it has smoothly completed the first installation of StacKFRAC Titanium XV in a HPHT (high pressure/high temperature) well in a Jurassic reservoir in Middle East.
Packers Plus President, Ian Bryant said that Titanium XV system provides their customers with the ability to improve reservoir performance and reduce operator costs. It offers the ability to selectively open and close different stages, reducing uncertainty and allowing for open hole multi-stage completions with full access to natural fractures and a high degree of reliability.

These are designed for open and cased hole, multi-stage stimulation in wells where differential pressures could reach up to 15,000 psi (103 MPa) and extreme bottom hole temperatures can be encountered. Due to the tight nature of the formation, matrix acidizing was not sufficient and hydraulic fracturing was used to maximize reservoir coverage. These challenges demand a selection of specialized completion equipment designed to accommodate bottom hole pressures in excess of 19,000 psi (131 MPa). StackFRAC Titanium XV system simplified multi-stage fracturing operations compared to traditional completion methods used in the area, minimizing time and cost.
