Pacifico Energy starts construction 257.7 MW Sakuto Mega Solar Power Plant

Pacifico Energy announced that it has started the construction of 257.7 MW Sakuto Mega Solar Power Plant located in Mimasaka, Okayama.

Sakuto Mega solar power plant is Japan’s largest solar generation plant. The plant is expected to be operational till September 2019 and once operational it will generate 290 MKh of electricity annually.

CEPCO (Chugoku Electric Power Company) will purchase all the electricity generated from this plant.
