NSG Wind and Wilhelmsen secure contract for TenneT’s offshore and onshore stations

NSG Wind and Wilhelmsen Ship Management have secured a contract to extend full technical maintenance solutions for TenneT’s offshore and onshore transformer stations as well as its altering current AC electricity transmission systems.

Wilhelmsen Ship Management will provide technical maintenance on components of the grid connection system, including the secondary and auxiliary systems.

Wilhelmsen Ship Management president and CEO Carl Schou said: “The collaboration between NSG Wind and Wilhelmsen Ship Management is a good combination of the best of both worlds.

Wilhelmsen Ship Management will undertake several digital initiatives in the project, including structural inspections using drones and developing a 3D model of the transformer stations to improve diagnostic accuracy.
