GameChange Solar asserts shipment of 13MW Pour-In-Place Ballasted Ground System in New Jersey
GameChange Solar proclaimed the shipment of a 13MW Pour-In-Place Ballasted Ground System has shifted to a landfill site in New Jersey to render a solar structure solution for landfills in the United States eyeing global markets as well. Some of the essential features of the GameChange Solar are as few as 190 per MW for 2 up portrait and 130 per MW for 3 up portrait, Substantial labor savings by eliminating moving and shimming heavy, precast blocks, Round tubs minimize any drainage and scouring issues – important for landfill caps, Integrated grounding and wire management Supports all poly, glass and thin film modules including First Solar Series.
Derick Botha, Senior VP of Business Development for GameChange Solar, stated: “Solar projects on landfills are an important repurposing of otherwise valueless land which is becoming a growing trend in the United States. With the GameChange Pour-In-Place Ballasted Ground System now at such a low cost, the premium for ballasted ground versus pile driven solar mounting structures has nearly been eliminated. We are seeing a rapid growth for the GameChange Pour-In-Place Ballasted Ground System not only for landfills but also on sites where rocky ground conditions will cause pile driven systems to be more expensive to install than the GameChange Pour-In-Place Ballasted Ground System.”
