E.ON commences operations of two 10MW batteries in Texas. The batteries withstand fluctuations in the power grid ensuring security of supply to its customers by enhancing it. The Texas Waves lithium-ion energy storage units are providing system services for the market. E.ON has developed, built and operated more than 3,600 MW of solar and wind power plants in the United States. E.ON is also one of the leading storage technology companies in the United States.
By combining renewable energy production and battery storage, E.ON’s vision to stabilize the grid. Texas waves is hence a core part of E.ON’s Pyron and Inadale farms. E.ON has managed to complete a project akin to this in Arizona.
