ENEL’s 150 MW Lindahl wind Farm begins Operations
Enel Green Power North America (EGPNA) announced that its first project in the state of North Dakota, Lindahl wind farm has started operations.
Lindahl installed capacity is 150 MW and can generate up to 625 GWh annually to meet the energy consumption needs of more than 50,000 U.S. households. The overall investment in the construction of wind farm is US$220 Million. The farm is owned by EGPNA Renewable Energy Partners, a joint venture between EGPNA (50%) and GE (50%). Lindahl sells its energy and related renewable credits under a bundled, long-term PPA with Basin Electric Power Cooperative.
EGPNA head, Rafael Gonzalez said that the completion of Lindahl furthers their strong growth in the US. They are proud to be a part of growing North Dakota’s energy economy and look forward to contributing to expertise and clean energy to the sustainable development of the local community.
