The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran and ROSATOM signed a road map and pre-project contract

Rosatom has signed a roadmap relating to Iranian-Russian cooperation in peaceful uses of atomic energy with the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran.

Behrouz Kamalvandi, Vice President at the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran and Nickolay Spasskiy, Deputy Director General at ROSATOM signed the road map to implement the Memorandum on the development of cooperation in peaceful uses of atomic energy of 11 November, 2014.

Seyed Jaber Safdari, Senior Vice President at the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran and Director General at Iranian Advanced Technologies, and Peter Lavrenyuk, Senior Vice President at TVEL, signed a pre-project contract for retrofitting of two gas centrifuge cascades at the facility of Fordo (Iran).

The documents were approved and prepared for signing as a result of recent negotiations between the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran and ROSATOM.
