ASUNIM constructing two PV Power plants in Turkey

Asunim Yenilenebilir Enerji Teknolojileri Ltd. has started construction of two large conglomerate non-licensed photovoltaic power plants one 20MWp and other 22MWp in Turkey’s Izmir province with preliminary approval from TEDAS (Turkish Electricity Distribution Co.).

Solar modules used by Asunim is manufactured by JinkoSolar Holding and string inverters supplied by REFUsol. The plant is expected to be operational in summer of 2017 with an annual production of 56 GWh.

These PV projects are the largest ones implemented in Turkey by the Asunim. The group also has units in Portugal and the UK and further business in Egypt, Chile and Spain.
