Orion Energy Systems Announces Appointment of New Director

OESX (Orion Energy System, Inc.) designer and manufacturer of high-performance, energy –efficient retrofit lighting platforms, announced they had increased the size of its board of Directors by appointing Ellen B. Richstone as ninth independent member of the board to serve from May 24th, 2017.

chief executive officer of Orion Energy Systems, John Scribante said that Ms. Richstone is a highly qualified and accomplished individual who will add tremendous value to their Board of Directors through her financial expertise and her experience as a seasoned executive and board member.

Ms. Richstone has served in a number of leadership roles, including chief financial officer of several public and private companies, including Rohr Aerospace, president and chief executive officer of the Entrepreneurial Resources Group, and the financial expert on the Board of Directors of American Power Conversion. Ms. Richstone currently serves on the boards of three other public companies: eMagin Corporation, Superior Industries International and BioAmber Inc. Ellen is also currently on the Board of the NACD, and was the recipient of the first Annual Distinguished Director Award from the American College of Corporate Directors.
