50MW DC PV station PPA in Jordan undertaken by Philadelphia Solar with NEPCO

National Electric Power Company signed a Power Purchase Agreement with Philadelphia Solar for 68 MW DC PV station ie- 50MW AC to be installed in the south of Jordan. Philadelphia Solar Company will design the system with Jordanian manpower, and all procedures of the PV station was approved by the MEMR’s energy consultant. This PV station will include more than 50% of local components using high-efficiency Jordanian Philadelphia Solar panels, and the power plan for the station is expected to generate 150 MWh annually.

The signing ceremony took place at Ministry of Energy and Mineral witnessing Dr. Saleh Al Khrabshah Minister of Energy andMineral Resources, General Manager of Philadelphia Solar Mr. Abdulrahman Shehadeh, the General Manager of the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) Eng. Abd Al Fattah Al Daradkeh and a number of leaders of the sector.
